The dust has hardly settled on The Good Xmas Trail 2015 and we’re off again, but this time we’re on a different sort of crusade. We’re heading for the D&AD judging panel with this short film in search of that elusive White Pencil Award.
D&AD exists to stimulate, enable and award creative excellence in design and advertising
D&AD has been supporting and nurturing creative talent since 1962, encouraging diversity in the global advertising and design industries. The White Pencil award is their way of recognising the need for “corporate social responsibility to become the cornerstone of ALL corporate growth plans and ethical business behaviour the norm, not the exception”.
So here it is.. the reason why we think The Good Xmas Trail should be recognised as a sustainable way of doing business and why we’re reaching for the coveted White Pencil Award. Regardless of what happens, we reckon this looks like a pretty darn good initiative.
A big thank you once again to the 35 social enterprises that jumped on board, a big thumbs up to Mr Mossman, our PR Guru and resident film-maker, and a doff-of-the-cap to Adam Bandt who recognised the value in promoting the need for more conscious consumption during the season of Goodwill.
